Getting everyone together
The aim of the Community Association is to act as a co-ordinating body for other groups in the village, and to organise events on its own behalf.
The umbrella group exists to promote these groups and their activities, to advise on fundraising and to help recruit new volunteers.
The Association meets on the last Tuesday of every month at 7.00pm in the rear lounge of Shevington Methodist Church.
All residents of Shevington, Shevington Moor, Shevington Vale, Appley Bridge, Standish Lower Ground and Crooke Village are warmly invited to attend these meetings.
Shevington and District Community Association is offering grants of up to £250 to individuals and organisations based in Shevington. For an application form, which also contains conditions for the grants, click below.
SADCA welcomes anyone who would like to find out more to attend a meeting, visit its Facebook and Twitter sites or email the secretary.
