The ‘Unknown Tommy’ stands in Shevington Library. The metal outlines were originally commissioned to mark 100 years of the end of WWII in 2018, although this photo was taken in 2020 after VE Day 75 was celebrated (in a socially distant way) across the country.

The fete in 2018, with the marquee in full swing. Musicians from the Rock Choir to Tom Jones impersonator Ian Anthony and local singers of all ages perform regularly at the fete.

Shevington Youth Club Chair John Whiteley presides over car park duties during the fete of 2014. Stalls are held inside the Youth Club and refreshments served in the foyer.

The village Christmas tree, which is paid for by the Parish Council along with the lamppost lights which are situated in various areas across the parish.

Vicarage Lane playing fields, which have been created on land owned by the Parish Council for local teams Shevington FC and Shevington Sharks ARLFC – as well as other community groups – to use.
