Memories group – dementia friendly

Memories meet on the first and third Friday of every month at Shevington Methodist Church from 2pm till 4pm. Take a trip down Memory Lane with Tony, who plays music from the past which will send you back to the 40s, 50s, 60s and beyond! Refreshments are provided for a small fee.

Shevington Dementia Carers Support Group

For carers of those with dementia, this group is here to offer support and advice. Connect with others going through similar situations, and find out how to get help. Share a brew and a biscuit – and let off some steam! Every last Monday of the month, 10.30am-12.30pm, Shevington Methodist Church rear lounge.

Tech Mates with Wigan Council

An ‘In Bloom’ group set up in 2012 to improve the look of our village, which enters the RHS NorthWest in Bloom annual competition.
